Sang Hanh and his family are new followers of Jesus.
Together with his wife and three young children, Sang lives in Vietnam. Since their conversion in April, the family have experienced persecution for their newfound faith.
Upon discovering that Sang and his wife had become Christians, local villagers threw stones into their house in an attempt to destroy their property.
The family’s buffalo, pigs, wood and land have been confiscated by the authorities. Their three children are prohibited from going to school.
Both the local authorities and fellow villagers have abused the family physically and economically in the hope of forcing them to renounce Jesus. Despite their efforts, Sang and his family have been strengthened in their faith. The Lord has helped them to overcome the difficulties and hostility they now face.
Through your support, we have been able to supply Sang and his wife with money to buy food. They are encouraged by our prayers and the goodness of the Lord through His provision.
“I don’t know what to say,” said Sang to one of our front-line workers in Vietnam. “Only that I give thanks to the Lord for you and your help in our troubles and difficulties. May God bless you, sponsors.”
Names have been changed to protect the family’s identity.
